Instructions
Take your Italian sausage out of the fridge and put them in the air fryer. Make sure you make a single, even layer. You’ll want space in between each sausage link so that the hot air can evenly circulate and cook the sausages.
Preheat your air fryer to 360°F for 10 minutes and then hit the“Start” button.
After 5 minutes, hit the “Pause” button and flip over the Italian sausages so the other side can cook. This ensures that the Italian sausage is cooked evenly through.
Cook for the remaining 5 minutes. After it’s done cooking, check the sausages with a meat thermometer. It should be between 155°F to 165°F.
Let it cool for 2-5 minutes, and then serve. You can eat them by themselves or serve them with your favorite pasta dishes, salads, or soups.
Notes
Keep in Mind:
You may need to adjust the cooking time depending on the air fryer you have. Different brands and models might produce different results.
Different brands of Italian sausages will require slightly different cook times. Thicker sausage links will require more time, skinnier links will require less time.
If you like really crispy skins, then I suggest increasing the temperature to 370 degrees and cooking for 4 minutes on each side.
